Cris and Dottie were married on a Florida beach in a small ceremony with family and close friends, but they live in L.A. - so a blowout party was in order once they got home.

This was truly a D.I.Y. affair, and one delivered with love by the couple's adoring friends. The reception was held in the backyard of talented event designer Jen La Bella, who also lent her services to stage the entire event. In addition to providing the photography, I also did the flowers, with other friends helping out with styling, decorating, and even the cake!

Although the couple had already had their ceremony, the L.A. rendition would not be outdone - tons of friends gave speeches, the couple had their first (West Coast) dance, and the bride even threw the bouquet.

And then of course, let's not forget the real reason we all came - to celebrate! The music kept going long into the night as the Los Angeles crew partied the night away on the dance floor.
